The 26th Annual General Meeting of Desh General Insurance Company Limited was held on September 09, 2026, both live and virtually. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Rokeya Quader, Chairman of Desh General Insurance Company Limited. The moderator was Mr. Mohammodi Khanam, Chief Executive Officer. In her brief speech, the Honorable Chairman of Desh General Insurance Company Limited shed light on the business success of the company in the past year and its future strategy. Also present at the meeting were; Mr. Aminur Rahman, Vice Chairman of the company, Mr. Shamim Ahmed (Independent Director), Mr. Md. Oli Uzzaman FCA (Independent Director).
The meeting was organized by the Company Secretary Mr. Md. Mokaddesur Rahman Sikder. The meeting proposed and passed a 2% cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2025. The general meeting was held peacefully with the direct and virtual participation of a large number of shareholders.
