264 crore transaction in two and a half hours

On the forth working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 264 crores of taka were traded in two and a half hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 231 companies increased.
According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 38.73 points to 5 thousand 264 points till 12:30 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Wednesday (December 4).
Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 3.7 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 16.14 points to stands at 1179 and 1937 points respectively.
A total of 264 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 231 companies rose, 106 fell and 61 remained unchanged.
