180 crore of transactions in two hours

On the 1st working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 180 crore of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 179 companies increased.

According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 7 points to 5 thousand 207 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on sunday (February16).

Along with the main index, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 2.18 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 6. Points to stands at 1156 and 1920 points respectively.

A total of Tk 180 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 179 companies rose, 127 fell and 92 remained unchanged.
