169 crore transaction in two and a half hours

On the forth working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 169 crores of taka were traded in two and a half hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 90 companies increased.

According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ decreased by 15.6 points to 5 thousand 218 points till 12:30 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Thursday (December 5).

Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ decreased by 3.27 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 6.66 points to stands at 1168 and 1921 points respectively.
A total of 169 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 90 companies rose, 257 fell and 49 remained unchanged.
