The second special flight carrying 153 stranded Bangladeshis from the UK is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on early Sunday.
The special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, BG 4106, arranged by the Bangladesh government at the initiative of Bangladesh High Commission in London, took off from Heathrow on Saturday at 10:30am (local time).
The flight is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 00:30am on Sunday, according to Bangladesh High Commission in London.
Many more jobless workers and students are awaiting to return from UK as coronavirus pandemic make them jobless.
Earlier, the High Commission, in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bangladesh and Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), arranged the first repatriation flight on May 10 and facilitated the repatriation of over 100 stranded Bangladesh citizens to Bangladesh.
