133 crore of transactions in two hours

On the fifth working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a positive trend. 133 crore of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 187 companies increased.

According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 11 points to 5 thousand 134 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Thursday (December 12).

Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ increased by 2.94 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index increased by 1.27 points to stands at 1144 and 1890 points respectively.

A total of Tk 133 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.
Among the traded companies, 187 companies rose, 112 fell and 101 remained unchanged.
