112 crores of transactions in two hours

On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main capital market of the country, is trading in a negative trend. 112 crores of taka were traded in two hours on this day. Meanwhile, the share price of 274 companies decreased.

According to sources, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ decreased by 28.6 points to 5 thousand 168 points till 12 pm after the start of trading of DSE on Thursday (December 8).

Along with the main indices, the Shariah Index or ‘DSES’ decreased by 6.4 points and the ‘DSE-30’ index decreased by 7.06 points to stands at 1157 and 1904 points respectively.

A total of 112 crore shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion.

Among the traded companies, 73 companies rose, 273 fell and 51 remained unchanged.
