Janata Bank PLC celebrated Youth Festival 2025. The event’s chief guest, Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, inaugurated the bank’s Customer Service Fortnight and launched the “Taka Pay Card” with NFC capabilities.

Nazma Mubarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended as a special guest and inaugurated the “e-Credit Management System”, a digital platform for loan disbursement.

The event was presided over by the bank’s Chairman, Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, where Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman presented the current state of the bank. Also present were Deputy Managing Directors Md. Golam Mortuza, Md. Fayez Alam, Md. Nazrul Islam, and Md. Ashraful Alam, along with other senior executives.

In his speech, Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury emphasized the importance of increasing loan disbursement in the SME sector. Secretary Nazma Mubarek urged bank officials to strictly follow due diligence in selecting qualified and appropriate borrowers before approving loans.

Chairman Muhammad Fazlur Rahman stated that the launch of the e-Credit Management System would make the bank’s loan disbursement process fully digital, transparent, and efficient.

Managing Director Md. Mojibur Rahman reaffirmed his commitment to building a strong foundation for Janata Bank PLC to overcome current challenges.
