Faruk Magura Correspondent: A seminar titled “Youth involvement in eliminating the harmful effects of drugs” was held at Ward No. 1 of Magura Sadar Upazila Municipality. A seminar titled “Youth involvement in eliminating the harmful effects of drugs” was held at the Rova Foundation Training Center in Itkhola, Magura on Monday, May 19.
Magura Deputy Commissioner Md. Ohidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the seminar. The Magura Deputy Commissioner highlighted the administration’s various initiatives to keep the youth free from drugs and called for building a social movement against drugs.
The seminar was presided over by Kazi Kamruzzaman, president of the Magura district branch of the ADAB. The president of the Magura district branch of the ADAB said, “The youth are the future of the country. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all of us to keep them away from drugs.”
Representatives of various social organizations, students, and youth leaders were also present at the seminar.
