Workshop on Shari’ah based banking held at Union Bank

Recently, a day-long workshop on Shari’ah-based banking, organized by Union Bank Training Institute, was held at the Bank’s Training Institute. Honorable chairman of the bank Mr. Farid Uddin Ahmad was present as the chief guest in the event. Honorable Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed was present as a special guest. Mr. Md. Ali Reza, CFO of the bank, FCMA, CIPA was present in the workshop as a resource person. Mr. Md. Hedayet Ullah, head of the training institute presided over the event. In the workshop, the Honorable Chairman of the Bank instructed the trainees to follow the Shariah Laws properly in their daily banking activities and advised them to acquire knowledge related to the Shariah Laws.
