The Entomology Division of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) has arranged a 3-day Workshop on “Integrated Pest Management and Biopesticide use” at the seminar room of the Entomology Division today (19 May 2026).

Dr. Nirmal Kumar Dutta, Chief Scientific Officer, Entomology Division, presided over the session while Director General of BARI Dr. Muhammad Ataur Rahman, was present as chief guest. BARI Director (Training and Communication) Dr. Reshma Sultana; APD (Partner, APCU-BARC) Dr. Md. Ashraful Alam, and Bangladesh Country Representative (CABI) Dr. Md. Saleh Ahmed were present as special guests. Dr. Kohinoor Begum, Chief Scientific Officer, Entomology Division gave the welcome address in this Workshop. The program was moderated by Dr. Md. Kafil Uddin, Senior Scientific Officer, Entomology Division. At this time, International delegates from various Organization, Pesticide Management company delegates and senior scientist from various center/division/section of BARI were present there also. The workshop was funded by partner project, APCU-BARC in collaboration with CABI.
