Whether individuals exist or not, the institution will continue: Governor

Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansoor said that no institution will be closed. Be it S Alamer or Beximkor. Institutions are national assets. Whether the individual exists or not, the organization will exist, the organization will continue.

He said these things at a press conference organized by Bangladesh Bank on Monday (November 18).

The governor said that the livelihood of many people is involved with these big industrial groups. The government is also working on how to strengthen these institutions.

He said that the central bank is responsible for the security of all deposits. Our main goal is to refund everyone’s deposits. Various measures are being taken for this. Banks will be supported. But it is not a child, it wanted a lollipop, and I gave it. This will not happen. All calculations will be made.

Islami Bank Bangladesh Chairman Obaid Ullah Al Masud was present at the press conference organized in the meeting room of Bangladesh Bank.

He said that Islam Group has taken half of the loan from Islami Bank. Apart from this, the Group has paid liabilities of Tk 20,000 crore against LC. Half of this deposit will be adjusted from the shares held in his name. Currently his share is 1600 crores. Its current share price is about 10 thousand crores. Apart from this, the remaining 10 thousand crores of new shares will be issued. Various organizations including Al-Raji, IFC will be invited to invest here.
