With the slogan of “We were the best, we are the best and we will be the best”, the day-long ‘Walton Plaza Challengers’ Summit-2025” was held.
The Challengers Summit was inaugurated at Walton Hi-Tech Park in Chandra, Gazipur on Tuesday morning (January 14, 2025).
The day-long summit was attended by Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC’s Vice-Chairman SM Shamsul Alam, Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Walton Micro-tech Corporation Nishat Tasnim Shuchi and Walton Plaza’s Managing Director Mohammad Rayhan.
The event was moderated by popular film actor and Walton’s Senior Executive Director Amin Khan.
More than one thousand officials, including plaza managers, regional sales managers and credit managers and other members, from around seven hundreds Walton Plazas across the country took part in the Challengers Summit.
In the conference, the authorities concerned provided necessary directives to the participants focusing on the current trends of electronics and technology business.
Speakers in the summit emphasized to uphold Walton Plaza’s top position in sales proceeds, social and humanitarian activities and also ensuring the best customer service in the years to come. They recalled that Walton Plaza received the honor of becoming the top sales network through nationwide CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities, creation, and skill development works.
They also said, only Walton Plaza in the world is providing ‘Hire purchase buyer and family protection policy’. Several hundreds of families have already been benefited under the policy and Walton Plaza achieved the honor of becoming top sales network through such of the activities.
A total of 190 officials were awarded in 19 categories for their outstanding performances in the sales growth of Walton Plaza in 2023. Walton Plaza’s Managing Director Mohammad Rayhan handed over the awards and crests to the awardees.
The day-long summit was also attended, among others, by Walton Hi-Tech’s Additional Managing Directors (AMD) Nazrul Islam Sarker and Yousuf Ali, Walton Digi-Tech’s AMD Engineer Liakat Ali, Walton Hi-Tech’s DMD Mofizur Rahaman Jakir and other senior officials of the company.
The day-long ‘Walton Plaza Challengers Summit-2025’ was wrapped up with a splendid cultural programme.
