On the first working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 255 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 180 companies increase.
Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” increased by 10 points to 5,235 points after DSE trading started on Sunday, March 16, 2025, till 12 p.m.
In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 2 points, while the “DSE-30” index decreased by 4 points with 1162 and 1897, respectively, in the standings.
On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 255 crore were exchanged during the conversation.
180 of the traded companies experienced growth, 157 experienced declines, and 82 experienced no change.
