DSE trades 2.20 billion taka in two hours

B Mirror Desk: On the Third working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market, is trading positively. In just two hours on this day, 220 crore of taka were exchanged. Meanwhile, the share prices of 185 companies increase.

Sources state that the main index, or “DSEX,” increased by 1 points to 5,198 points after DSE trading started on Tuesday, April 08, 2025, till 12 p.m.

In addition to the other index, the “DSES” or Sariah index decreased by 1 points, while the “DSE-30” index decreased by 1 points with 1166 and 1931, respectively, in the standings.

On the DSE, shares and units valued at Tk 220 crore were exchanged during the conversation.185 of the traded companies experienced growth, 139 experienced declines, and 78 experienced no change.
