United Finance PLC held its 36th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, at 10:00 AM through a digital platform. The Board of Directors proposed a 10% cash dividend for the year 2024, which was duly approved by the shareholders of United Finance PLC.
The AGM was attended by Mr. Najmul Hasan, Chairman of United Finance PLC; Directors Mr. Moinuddin Hasan Rashid, Mrs. Mahenoor Sultana Rashid, Mr. Khondaker Zayed Ahsan, Mr. Kayes Khalil Khan, and Mr. Ormaan Rafay Nizam; Independent Directors Professor Dr. Mahfuzul Hoque, Professor Dr. Mohammad Omar Farooq, Mr. Md. Jahidur Rahman; and the Managing Director, Mr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam.
At the meeting, the Chairman and the Managing Director warmly welcomed the participating shareholders and expressed their sincere gratitude for their continued trust and support towards the company. They stated that the financial success achieved over the past year resulted from prudent, timely, and well-considered strategic initiatives undertaken by the management in response to prevailing market conditions.
