Union Bank sit-in program for recovery of defaulted investment

With a view to increasing customer confidence and more strengthening the bank’s base, Union Bank PLC. has undertaken various programs to recover defaulted investments. As a part of that on 16 January, 2025, executives and officers at various levels of the bank’s head office and branches held a sit-in program in front of the office of Meghmala Estate Limited, as a part of social movement to get return bank’s dues about Tk.13.21 crore only. The defaulting customer is Mr. Md. Morsalin Islam, Chairman, other directors of Meghmala Estate Limited and the guarantor Mr. Md. Khairul Islam.
