The 179^th Board Meeting of the Board of the Directors of Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 21 September, 2025.  Honorable chairman of the Board of the Directors of the bank Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting. Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting. Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Mohammad Iqbal and Mr. Mizanur Rahman attended the meeting on the occasion. In the meeting, discussed in details on various ongoing issues of the bank and were expressed thanks for the trust of the people at all levels in Union Bank.
