Faruk Magura Correspondent: The meeting of the National Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025 Upazila Coordination Committee took place in Magura. Organized by the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer’s Office, the meeting commenced at 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 6, in the Magura Sadar Upazila Parishad meeting room, attended by 15 officials.
The session was chaired by Md. Hasibul Hasan, the Magura Sadar Upazila Executive Officer, and facilitated by Dr. Md. Afzal Hossain, the Magura Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer. Other speakers included Saifuzzaman Khan, the Magura Sadar Upazila Primary Education Officer, Abdul Awal, Deputy Director of the Magura Women’s Affairs Department, Md. Anwarul Islam, Program Officer of the BRAC Education Program, Muhammad Mujib Ullah, Deputy Director of the Magura Islamic Foundation, Md. Shamsuzzaman, MT EPI Administrator of Magura Municipality, Md. Ayub Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Magura Sadar Thana, and Md. Abdur Razzak Mondal, Headmaster of Jagla HM Secondary School, among others.
In Magura Sadar Upazila, the national typhoid vaccination initiative aims to immunize 49,162 individuals in educational institutions and 24,637 in the community, totaling 73,799 people.
