Transfer of two more companies to ‘Z’ category.

Two more companies listed in the capital market have been reclassified to ‘Z’ category. The shares of the companies will be traded in ‘Z’ category from today Tuesday (October 01).

This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

The two companies are Federal Insurance and Acme Pesticides Limited.

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has shifted the companies from ‘A’ and ‘B’ category to ‘Z’ category.

It is known that DSE has transferred these companies to ‘Z’ category on the instructions of the regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) due to violation of securities laws.

Earlier, BSEC issued two separate instructions on May 20 of this year and December 26, 2021. According to the order of BSEC, the companies have been shifted to ‘Z’ category.
