H. Imran, Jhenaidah Correspondent : Train services were disrupted for nearly an hour in Kaliganj, Jhenaidah, after the spring of the luggage van broke down at the Mubarakganj Railway Station. This caused a temporary disruption to the train schedule.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Rocket Mail train traveling from Khulna to Chilahatigami entered the Kaliganj border area, where an issue with the rear luggage van’s wheel was detected. At 12:03 PM, the train stopped at Mubarakganj Station, where it was found that the spring of the wheel had broken. The goods in the luggage van were then moved, and after necessary repairs, train services resumed at 1:18 PM.

The train driver, Aminul Islam, stated, “After leaving Khulna, I noticed an issue with the rear luggage van’s wheel as the train entered the Kaliganj border. We stopped at Mubarakganj Station and discovered that the spring had broken. After moving the goods and making the necessary repairs, we safely resumed the train’s journey.”
