On the last working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in a positive trend with the index.
According to sources, two hours after the start of trading on Thursday (November 28), i.e. until 12.30 pm, the main index of the DSE or ‘DSEX’ increased by 27.99 points to 5,225 points.
Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ increased by 5.83 points and the ‘DS-30’ index increased by 11.45 points to 1,172 and 1,928 points respectively.
During the period in question, a total of 255.68 crore taka shares and units were traded on the DSE. Shares and units worth 215.25 crore taka were exchanged during the same period of the previous working day.
Of the companies traded, 260 increased their prices, 78 decreased their prices, and 64 remained unchanged.
