Trading is in an upward trend.

On the third working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), is trading in an upward trend. In the first hour and a half of trading on this day, more than 122 crore Taka were traded.

According to sources, on Tuesday (October 22), one and a half hours after the start of DSE trading, i.e. till 11:30 am, the main index of DSE or ‘DSEX’ has increased by 52.24 points and stands at 5,225 points.

Along with the main index, the Shariah index or ‘DSES’ has increased by 10.42 points and the ‘DS-30’ index by 15.71 points and stands at 1167 and 1919 points respectively.

A total of 122 crore 97 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE during the discussion period.

Among the traded companies, the share price of 322 companies increased, 32 companies decreased and 35 companies remained unchanged.
