Trading Halted on Capital market Today

B Mirror Desk : The nation’s two capital markets are closed today, May 11, in observance of ‘Buddha Purnima’ celebrated by Buddhists.

Consequently, there will be no trading activities on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) today. This announcement has been confirmed by sources from both exchanges.

According to these sources, today is recognized as a government holiday for Buddha Purnima, leading to the closure of all banks, insurance companies, and government and semi-government institutions across the country. As a result, both capital markets will also remain closed. Trading will resume as normal on May 12, Monday.
