Today is the 1st death anniversary of Mustafa Golam Quddus . He was born on 4 March 1949 in Chauddagram, Cumilla district.
A freedom fighter turned police officer, Mr. Kuddus later became one of the most successful entrepreneurs in the export-oriented garment sector. Founder of Dragon Group, Mr. Kuddus is also renowned as the father of the sweater manufacturing and export industry in the country. He also served as the President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA). Later, he became a prominent entrepreneur in the insurance sector as well.
His son, Mustafa Kamrus Sobhan, is also a successful entrepreneur. Mr. Kamrus is also the Honorary Consul of Uruguay in Bangladesh.
