Three insurance companies did not remit dividends to investors

Three insurance companies listed on the stock market have not remitted the declared dividend to the BO account of the investors even though a long time has passed after the dividend declaration.

The main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has asked why not sending dividends to the companies within the stipulated time.

The companies are – Nettle Insurance, Mercantile Islami Insurance, and Agrani Insurance Company Limited.

Among the companies, Knittel Insurance declared a cash dividend of 10.5 percent, Mercantile Islami Insurance 10 percent, and Agrani Insurance 12 percent for the financial year ended December 31, 2023.

But even after the due date, the companies have not sent the declared dividend to the investors.
