Three brokerage houses receive DSE FIX certification

Three brokerage houses have received Dhaka Stock Exchange PLC (DSE) FIX certification. As part of the ongoing process of providing FIX certification to brokerage houses, DSE today (December 12) provided FIX certification to the brokerage houses.

The brokerage houses are – Bhanshi Securities Limited, B Reach Limited and Sheltech Brokerage Limited.

DSE Acting Managing Director AGM Sattwik Ahmed Shah provided the certification at the event held at the DSE Boardroom. DSE Chief Regulatory Officer Khairul Bashar Abu Taher Mohammad, General Manager and Chief Operating Officer (Acting) Md. Chamiul Islam, General Manager General Manager (ICT) and Chief Technology Officer (Acting) Md. Tariqul Islam, along with senior officials of the ICT and Market Development Division were present at the time.

It is worth noting that Dhaka Stock Exchange took the initiative to launch the API (Application Program Interface) BHOMS from 2020. In view of this, 60 brokerage houses applied to DSE to trade through their own order management system with API connection to Nasdaq Matching Engine. Today, 3 brokerage houses have been granted FIX certification to a total of 19 brokerage houses. Out of these, 12 brokerage houses have launched their own OMS through API connection after receiving FIX certification.
