On Thursday (July 11), the last working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended the trading with a huge fall in prices. Also, the transaction has decreased compared to the previous day. Share price of 343 companies decreased.
According to sources, on this day the main index of DSE ‘DSEX’ has decreased by 61.66 points. Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 506 points.
Besides, the other DSE index ‘DSES’ decreased by 11.94 points to 1 thousand 207 points and ‘DS-30’ index decreased by 15.77 points to 1 thousand 942 points.
Shares and units worth Tk 664 crore 28 lakh 89 thousand were traded in DSE today. 967 crore 22 lakh 54 thousand taka was traded on the previous working day.
A total of 397 shares and units of companies were traded in DSE. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 36 companies increased their prices, while 343 companies decreased their prices. And the share and unit price of 18 companies remained unchanged.
