On the third working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended trading with a nominal rise in the price index. On this day, the amount of transactions in taka figures increased slightly from the previous working day. Along with this, the price of 185 shares of the traded companies decreased.

According to the source, on Tuesday (February 4), the main index of the DSE ‘DSEX’ increased by 1.49 points. Currently, the index is standing at 5,147 points.
In addition, the other index of the DSE ‘DSES’ increased by 0.04 points to 1,139 points and the ‘DS-30′ index increased by 0.81 points to 1,910 points.
Today, shares and units worth Tk 444.41 crore 93 lakh were traded on the DSE. On the previous working day, Tk 331 crore 33 lakh 10 thousand were traded.
A total of 399 companies’ shares and units changed hands on the DSE today. Of the companies participating in the transaction, 140 companies’ prices increased, while 185 companies’ prices decreased. In addition, the prices of shares and units of 74 companies remained unchanged.
