The country’s main capital market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended the week’s last business day with a rising price index. On this day, the volume of transactions in DSE has increased compared to the previous day.
According to sources, on Thursday (June 6), the main index of Dhaka Stock Exchange DSE X increased by 12.95 points. Currently, the index stands at 5 thousand 237 points.
Besides, the DSES index increased by 1.23 points to 1 thousand 136 points and the DSE30 index increased by 3.59 points to 1 thousand 857 points.
A total of Tk 542 crore 60 lakh 45 thousand was traded in DSE today. 381 crore 34 lahks 14 thousand taka was traded on the previous working day.
A total of 394 shares and units of the company were traded today. 152 companies have increased their rates. Share prices fell 166 companies’ share prices fell. Share prices of remaining 76 companies remained unchanged.
