On the last working day of the week, the main capital market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended in a positive trend. The main index increased by 62 points.

According to sources, on Thursday (July 25), DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ increased by 62.81 points. Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 413 points.

Besides, another DSE index ‘DSES’ rose 13.81 points to 1183 points and ‘DS-30’ index rose 24.25 points to 1932 points.

Shares and units worth Tk 497 crore 34 lakh were traded in DSE today. 159 crore 37 lakh taka was traded on the previous working day.

Shares and units of a total of 392 companies were exchanged on DSE on Thursday. Among the institutions participating in the transaction, 286 companies increased in price, while 66 companies decreased. Apart from this, the share and unit prices of 40 companies remain unchanged.
