The index traded higher in mixed conditions

On Monday, the second working day of the week ended mixed trading on Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) indices. On this day, the share price of most companies fell along with the index. However, the transaction amount has increased.

This information is known from DSE sources.

It is known that at the end of the day, the DSE Broad Index is 3 points lower than the previous day at 5,775 points. And DSE Shariah index increased by 5 points to 1 thousand 148 points and the DSE-30 index decreased by 5 points to 2 thousand 121 points.

Among the 396 companies and mutual funds traded during the day, 119 advanced, 247 declined and 30 remained unchanged.

807.15 million taka were traded in DSE. Which is 326 crore 26 lakh more than the previous working day. The previous day, the transaction was Tk 480 crore 89 lakh.

On the other hand, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) overall index CASPI decreased by 99 points to 16 thousand 616 points.

222 institutions participated in the transaction on CSE. Among these institutions, 45 increased, 160 decreased and 17 remained unchanged. Shares and units worth Tk 8 crore 62 lakh have been traded in CSE.
