On the third working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended with a decline in all the indices. At the same time, the share prices of most of the companies participating in the transaction fell.
However, the volume of transactions has slightly increased compared to the previous working day.
According to sources, DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ fell by 35.05 points on Tuesday (November 12). Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 298 points.
Besides, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ has decreased by 12.29 points to 1183 points and ‘DS-30’ index has decreased by 7.43 points to 1970 points.
Shares and units worth Tk. 577 crore 66 lakh 07 thousand were traded in DSE today. 576 crore 56 lakh 76 thousand taka was traded on the previous working day.
A total of 400 company shares and units were exchanged in DSE that day. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 136 companies increased in price, while 216 companies decreased in price. Besides, the share and unit price of 48 companies remained unchanged.
