The country’s stock market is showing signs of coming out of the fall. After the big rise in the first two working days after Eid, the index showed an upward trend in the opening trade on Sunday (June 23). Along with that, most of the company’s shares and units are on the price increase list.
In the first half an hour of trading, the main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has increased by 52 points. And the transaction was about one hundred crore taka. About two and a half companies have written their names on the price increase list.
Another stock market Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also has a large number of companies in the price increase list. As a result, the price index is also on an upward trend. But in this market, the transaction is slow.
On this day, trading in the stock market started by increasing the share price of most of the companies. The main index of DSE increased by 16 points after the start of trading. During the first half hour of trading, the share price of most companies continued to rise. Along with that, the upward trend of the index also started to increase.
However, the upward trend of the index has slowed down a bit since then. As of 10:38 a.m. till the writing of this report, 244 companies’ shares and units are on the list of rising prices in DSE. On the contrary, the price of 64 has decreased. And the price of 51 remains unchanged.
As a result, the main index of DSE increased by 47 points. Among the other two indices, the DSE-30 index rose by 17 points. And DSE Shariah index increased by 10 points. 96 crore 61 lakh taka has been traded in DSE till now.
