The capital market is in the circle of decline again.

Capital gains tax cut news had a positive impact on the stock market amid the continuous fall in prices. Both indices traded higher for two consecutive working days. However, today, the fourth working day of the week, the stock market has returned to the downward trend. On this day, the share price of most of the companies in the main stock market fell along with the price index. Along with that, the volume of transactions has also decreased.

This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

According to sources, on Wednesday (November 6), the main index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange ‘DSEX’ fell by 17.93 points. The index stood at 5 thousand 347 points at the end of the market today.

On this day, the DS30 index decreased by 0.01 points with the main index. And DSE’s Shariah index increased by 0.99 points.

A total of Tk 651 crore 20 lakh shares and units were traded in DSE today. 839 crore 70 lakh was traded on the previous working day.

A total of 399 company shares and units were traded in the main stock markets of the country on this day. Share prices of 33 companies remain unchanged today. 85 companies have increased their rates. Share prices of remaining 281 companies fell today.
