The 9th meeting of the newly formed Audit Committee of the Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 30 April, 2025. Honorable Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA presided over the meeting. Member of the Audit Committee & Independent Director Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting. Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed and Mr. Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion. The head of IC & CD of the bank EVP Dr. Md. Sirajul Haque and EVP & CFO Mr. Md. Ali Reza, FCMA, CIPA were also present. In the meeting the audit report of various branches of the bank and related issues were reviewed.
