Mrinal Kanti Roy Tangail District Correspondent: The 57th training passing-out parade was held at the Mahera Police Training Centre (PTC) in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail. The parade took place on Tuesday morning (3 January) at the PTC parade ground.
Bangladesh Police Additional Inspector General (Development) Sardar Nurul Amin, BPM, attended the event as the chief guest and reviewed the parade. He received the salute from the trainees and delivered a speech after inspecting the parade.
A total of 425 trainee recruit constables of the 57th TRC batch successfully completed their basic training through active participation.
Addressing the trainees, the chief guest said, “You have been recruited into Bangladesh Police purely on merit. You must apply the excellence of the knowledge gained during training, along with honesty, dedication, and sincerity, in your professional lives. By performing your assigned duties impartially and with the highest professionalism, you should strive to earn the trust of the people.” He concluded by wishing the new members every success.
Among others present were Police Training Centre Commandant Mohammad Ashfaqul Alam, Deputy Commandant Md Mahfuzur Rahman, Additional DIG (Curriculum) Dr A.H.M. Qumruzzaman, BPM, PPM, Additional SP (Admin & Finance) Md Sakibul Islam Khan, Additional SP (Training) Quazi Rubayat Rumi, Kazi Maksuda Lima, PPM (Bar), Additional SP Sonia Parvin, and ASP (Training) Pias Sarker.
Also in attendance were Tangail Superintendent of Police Mohammad Shamsul Alam Sarkar, River Police Tangail Region Police Superintendent Mohammad Sohel Rana, along with senior officials from various departments of the district, invited guests, journalists, and the guardians of the trainees.
