A terrible fire has taken place in the power grid in Amin Bazar, Savar. Nine units of the fire service are working to control the fire. The incident took place on Tuesday (March 11) morning.

The media cell of the fire service confirmed the fire in a statement.

The statement said that the fire service received a report of a fire at the Amin Bazar power grid in Savar, Dhaka at 7:15 am. The first unit reached the spot at 7:20 am immediately. Then eight more units joined one by one.

It was stated that nine units of the fire service are currently working to control the fire, and it was further stated that while eight units initially worked to control the fire, another unit of the fire service joined at 8:39 am.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not known at the time of writing.
