Tangail District Law and Order Committee Holds Monthly Meeting

Mrinal ,Tangail Correspondent: The monthly meeting of the Tangail District Law and Order Committee was held on Sunday morning at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Sharifa Haque, with Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Mizanur Rahman delivering a key address.
During the discussion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized that maintaining and improving law and order in the district remains a top priority for the administration. She also praised the ongoing activities of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, highlighting its importance in ensuring fair trade practices. In addition, she instructed officials to conduct special drives focusing on the quality and safety of baby food products to safeguard public health.
Among those present at the meeting were Local Government Deputy Director Md Shihab Rayhan, Additional District Magistrate Md. Mahbub Hasan, RAB-14 CPC-3 Company Commander Major Kawsar Badhan, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Sharmin Sultana, Jail Superintendent Md. Shahidul Islam, Assistant Director of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (Tangail) Asaduzzaman Rumel, and Assistant Director (Engineering) of BRTA SK Mahatab Uddin Ahamed, along with other officials from law enforcement and government departments.
The meeting reviewed the district’s overall law and order situation, discussed ongoing operations, and reaffirmed the commitment of all agencies to ensure peace, safety, and good governance across Tangail.
