Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: Tanbir Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station, received the award for best OC in Tangail district. On Monday afternoon, at the monthly meeting at the Police Line Multipurpose Hall, Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman presented the crest and award for best OC.

He was nominated for the award for his contribution in solving the mystery of murder cases, arresting the accused quickly, controlling drug-terrorism, and uncovering various criminal activities including eve-teasing. At that time, OC Tanbir Ahmed said that this achievement is not only mine but also that of all police members. He also said that to maintain this achievement, ordinary citizens in Sadar should unite and stand by the police against injustice.
