Mrinal Tangail Correspondent : Md. A Baten, Member Secretary of Tangail District Chhatra Dal, has taken a unique initiative by distributing exam materials among SSC 2026 candidates to encourage them ahead of their examinations.

The programme was held on Sunday afternoon at a restaurant in the New Bus Stand area, where around 100 students received essential items including pens, pencils, sharpeners, files and scales.

The initiative, taken personally by Baten, aimed to motivate secondary-level students. Candidates from nearby areas such as New Bus Stand, Deola and Kodalia were among the beneficiaries.

Students expressed their happiness after receiving the gifts, saying such initiatives would inspire them to perform better in their exams. They also hoped that similar programmes would be arranged on a larger scale in the future.

Speaking at the event, Md. A Baten said the idea came to him suddenly. “Due to time constraints, I could not reach many students despite my intention. However, I plan to expand this initiative in the future,” he added.
