B Mirror Report: The country’s stock market will remain open on Saturday, May 23, ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays, with trading and office operations continuing as usual.
According to a notice issued by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday, the market will observe a seven-day holiday from May 25 to May 31 for Eid-ul-Azha.
The DSE said its office and trading activities will operate according to the regular schedule in line with the government’s directive.
As part of the revised holiday arrangement, both Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, will be treated as regular working days, and all trading and official activities at the DSE will continue normally.
However, all office and trading operations will remain suspended from Monday, May 25, to Sunday, May 31, in observance of the Eid-ul-Azha holidays.
Regular office and trading schedules will resume from Monday, June 1, the DSE added.
