The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, saw a decline in its price index after the end of trading on the first working day of the week. Compared to the previous working day, there were a few more transactions in taka on this particular day. About 200 shares of the companies that were traded saw a decline in price at the same time.

The source claims that the DSE’s main index, or “DSEX,” dropped 2.69 points on Sunday, February 16. At the moment, the index has 5,198 points.
In addition, the other index of the DSE ‘DSES’ fell by 2.12 points to 1,153 points and the ‘DS-30′ index fell by 2.52 points to 1,921 points.
Today, shares and units worth Tk 4,159.596 crore were traded on the DSE. On the previous working day, Tk 4,017.728 crore was traded.
Shares and units of 409 Companies were exchanged on the DSE today. The prices of 138 and 196 of the participating companies in the deal went up and down, respectively. Furthermore, there was no change in the prices of 75 firms’ shares and units.
