Standard Bank PLC. inaugurated Haj Booth at Haj Camp, Ashkona, Dhaka. Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony Mohon Miah, Managing Director & CEO (Current Charge) of the Bank and Special Guest Kamruz Zaman, Deputy Secretary of Bangladesh Govt. & Director of Haj Office, Ashkona; formally inaugurated the Haj Booth on Monday.
Free passport endorsement, foreign currency exchange and Haj information services will be provided to Haj pilgrims from the Haj Booth.
Mosharraf Hossain, SEVP & Chief Remittance Officer and high officials of the bank were present at the event. After the inauguration, the bank provided a prayer mat for the Mosque at Haj Camp and handed over gift packages to the Haj pilgrims containing necessary items for Haj.
