Standard Bank Holds Business Review Meeting of Dhaka Region

Standard Bank PLC. organized a Business Review Meeting at the Bank’s Head Office, Dhaka on 07 February 2026 with the participation of Heads of all branches of Dhaka region. Managing Director (Acting) of the bank Mr. Md. Siddiqur Rahman presided over the meeting while Honorable Chairman Mr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz was present as the Chief Guest and Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Gulzar Ahmed was present as the Special Guest.

The Chief Guest Mr. Aziz, in his address, called upon all concerned to work with dedication, sincerity and a strong sense of responsibility to achieve the Bank’s goals and objectives. The Special Guest, Mr. Ahmed, emphasized the importance of working with a service-oriented mindset to ensure the Bank’s overall progress and success. The Chair of the meeting alongside reviewing the overall business performance, provided strategic guidance to face the prevailing domestic and global challenges through achieving the Bank’s targets for 2026. Sk. Sirajul Kabir, Head of Special Asset Management Division; Md. Monsur Ahmed, Head of Investment Risk Management Division; Mohammad Kaiser Alam Mozumder, Head of Human Resources Division; Mohammad Salah Uddin FCS, Chief Financial Officer; Shah Rahat Uddin Ahmed, Head of Treasury; Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Chief Information Technology Officer; Heads of all branches of Dhaka region and senior officials from the Bank’s Head Office were present in the Meeting.

The overall supervision of the meeting was carried out by Md. Rafiqur Rahman, Principal of Standard Bank Training Centre.
