Southeast Bank Training Institute organized a day-long workshop

Southeast Bank Training Institute organized a day-long workshop on “Money and Banking Data (SBS-1, SBS-2, and SBS-3) Reporting and Recent Changes” on October 27, 2025.

The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the professional knowledge of the Bank officials while emphasizing the importance, process, and recent changes in SBS reporting. Additionally, hands-on training was provided on Assets, Liabilities, and Classified Loans.

The sessions of the workshop were conducted by Mr. Prabir Kumar Sarker, Director and Mr. Md. Nurul Islam, Additional Director, Statistics Department, Bangladesh Bank; including Mr. Md. Tofazzal Hossain, Deputy Director, Banking Statistics Division of Bangladesh Bank. The trainers from Bangladesh Bank provided the participants with a comprehensive understanding of the significance of SBS reporting and recent changes in this area. They also offered crucial guidance to ensure accurate and error-free reporting.

The honorable Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, inaugurated the workshop with an insightful speech. In his remarks, he urged the participants to realize the importance of timely and accurate reporting and perform their responsibilities with diligence and expertise.

A total of 62 officials from various branches of the Bank participated in the workshop. Southeast Bank remains committed to organizing similar training programs in the future to further enhance the professional skills of its officials.
