As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Southeast Bank PLC. has extended special financial support under its special CSR fund to Khulna University for conducting research activities.

Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of the Bank handed over the financial assistance cheque to the Honorable Treasurer of Khulna University Professor Dr. Md. Noor Un Nabi on the event.

Professor Md. Rejaul Islam, Head of Agrotechnology Discipline, Khulna University; Professor Dr. Md. Shafiqul Islam and Professor Dr. Md. Matiul Islam, Agrotechnology Discipline, Khulna University were present in the event. Md. Masum Uddin Khan and Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors, Mamunur Rashid, FCS, EVP and Company Secretary and Md. Musfiqur Rahman, Senior Vice President and Head of CSR Division of the Southeast Bank also attended the event.

It is worth mentioning that Southeast Bank PLC. has extended similar financial assistance to Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University; Agargaon, Dhaka; Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur; Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chattogram; Sylhet Agricultural University; Habiganj Agricultural University; and Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University.

This financial assistance reflects Southeast Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting agricultural research and contributing to national agricultural development as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
