Sonali Bank PLC signed an agreement with Southeast Bank PLC to collect challan, utility bill, pension scheme installments and various charge-fees from Southeast Bank customers through mobile financial service ‘Telecash’ and internet banking portal by using ‘Sonali Payment Gateway’ service.
The signing ceremony was held at Sonali Bank PLC head office on Monday, reads a press release.
Sonali Bank PLC CEO & Managing Director Afzal Karim and Southeast Bank PLC Managing Director Nuruddin Sadeque Hossain exchanged the documents on behalf of their respective banks.
Under the agreement, Southeast Bank customers can pay their challan, utility bill, pension scheme installments and various charge-fees by using Sonali Bank payment gateway services staying at home round the clock.
