Sonali Bank PLC has inaugurated a 115 kWp on-grid solar system at the Sonali Bank Staff College in Uttara, Dhaka as a part of an initiative to reduce electricity costs and expand the use of renewable energy across its various facilities, The Chairman of Sonali Ban, Muhammed Mahbubur Rahman and Managing Director, Md. Shawkat Ali Khan, inaugurated the solar system installed on the roof of the Staff College by cutting a ribbon on Saturday. In Early, they participated in an inaugural ceremony held in the conference room of the Staff College. Staff College Principal Md. Fazlul Haque presided over the ceremony. Staff College faculties, executives from various levels of the bank, relevant officials and the participating trainee officers also were present on the program.
