The 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sonali Bank PLC was held at head office Board Room on 28 May, Wednesday. Chairman of Board of Directors of Sonali Bank PLC, Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury presided over the Annual General Meeting. Shareholders and Directors Muhammed Mahbubur Rahman, Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, Md. Azimuddin Biswas, Molla Abdul Wadud, Dr. Asif Naimur Rashid, Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Md. Mofazzal Husain, Muhammad Masrurul Islam, Laila Bilkis Ara, Tariqul Islam Chowdhury, Bank’s MD & CEO Md. Shawkat Ali Khan and Company Secretary Tauhidul Islam also attended the meeting. Additional Secretary of Financial Institute Division, Md. Sayed Kutub attended the meeting as a representative of Finance Ministry.
At the meeting, financial statement, the balance sheet and profit and loss account for the year 2024 along with Director’s report and auditors’ report were taken, considered and approved by share holders and directors. They also approved auditors for the year of 2025.
